Race report by Mark Sousa
The Stateline crew did a great job to make it a fun weekend of racing and some fun games and party at night after it. I ran both my XRAY XT8 and XB8 cars for the weekend and was feeling really happy with both of them throughout the weekend. In the first round of qualifying I had two solid runs in both classes with 2 second place finishes for the round.

Round 2 was a little bit a struggle as we made some changes to the car and it wasn't the way to go but was still able to get 5th for the round in both classes.
The 3rd was really good in both as I was able to TQ the final round of truck and get 5th in buggy and even though I had one mistake in buggy I felt super good and was looking forward to the mains.

Nitro Truggy A-main I was starting second overall behind Tyler jones on the grid. On the first lap Tyler made a mistake and I got tangled with him and got pushed back to last, did my best but had more crashes then I would have liked and came across in 4th. Congrats to my brother for finishing 2nd.

In the buggy main I was feeling good going into it and was starting 4th on the grid. As the main got started I had a good battle with Tyler jones for second before he would make a mistake and I was able to get around him and was behind Dakota phend by 8 seconds until Dakota broke his car and at that point Colin Weatherholt got around me for the lead and me and him battled for a bit. I was able to get around him after he pitted but unfortunately he flamed out coming out of pit lane and that left me to battle with Austin Horne for the win. Me and him went back and forward but was able to open it up at the very end to take the win.
Thanks to the whole Stateline crew for the great weekend and great hospitality. Thanks to my parents for all the support and also thanks to all my sponsors for all there support
